A GROWING CONGREGATION Serving Danville since 1843, First Christian offers something for everyone: preschool and children’s worship, handbell choir, Bible study, retreats, church camps, groups that minister to people of all ages and more.

| We began the communion service that has become a staple of the Great American Brass Band Festival as well as a sunrise Easter service at Pioneer Playhouse. We work with the Salvation Army, Al Anon, Parents’ Night Out, Habitat for Humanity and others. |

AT WORK IN THE WIDER WORLD Beyond our local ministry, our youth have participated in mission trips to Florida and Texas. Adults have taken a mission trip to Washington State. We support the Disciples Global Ministries.
